I have now been in Blaby for six years and very much enjoy being part of the community here.
I moved from Peterborough where I had been part of a church, preaching, taking family services and assemblies in school and supporting a number of charities.
I became a Christian in 1989 and since then have become more and more passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ, longing for people to come to know Jesus for themselves. I have been involved in the healing ministry, for some years being part of the New Wine ministry team and ‘Healing on the streets’ project.
Prior to retirement I had been a head of a primary school, a career that I had thoroughly enjoyed. As well as church activities I enjoy swimming, bird watching and gardening. I also enjoy travelling, especially abroad.
My Mum still lives in Suffolk while my stepdaughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren live in York.
